Well, I should have known better than to wish for more ‘winter’ weather so that the kids wouldn’t have their internal clocks messed up! I take it all back…I am SO ready for Spring, and after Sunday when we ‘spring back’ we should be on our way! We will resume our normal meeting schedule next week, Thursday, March 13, at Outer Limits.
It sounds like the Significant Other dinner was a great success, minus the crazy weather! Thank you so much to Cheryl Dillon for taking the reigns and creating such an enjoyable evening. We had approximately 50 people in attendance. Our next club outing will be the bus trip to the Stuhr museum in April. Let’s make it another great event.
Now that basketball season is over, you might wonder what HJ is going to do with all of his spare time. Not to worry, he’s got a honey-do list that’s several miles long and we decided to add a member of our family. Meet Maizie Mae… She’s been a great addition to our family and Maggie is adjusting to having a new sister around.
Our speaker this month will be from the Nebraska State Patrol. They will be
going over weights and measures as well as the new rules for hauling antique tractors to and from parades. The State Patrol is always very insightful and we are grateful that they are always willing to come and share this information with us. We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, March 13, at Outer Limits in Valley, NE. The meeting will start right at 7, please arrive early if you are planning to eat.
