GONE. Yep it’s gone. We all head it. The Farmers Almanac is now gone. The 2026 issue is the last
one. It has been published from Lewiston Maine since 1818. It has been the bible for many people to
see the weather, gardening tips, recipes and tons of information. But not all is lost. The “Old Farmer’s
Almanac” is still there for us. This is the more common yellow cover issue that you can purchase. Price
about $8. It has been published in Dublin, New Hampshire since 1792 and is still going strong. So you
can still get all the information that you desired as the battle of the almanacs has ended with a winner.
I have to admit I have not purchased many and did not know there were two different issues of the
almanac. So now I will have to watch for the yellow cover the next time I am shopping.
